Imprisoned here are some of the supervisors of the Bataan Death March which took place from April to May 1942. At the present a shrine was built to commemorate the Filipino guerillas led by the late Governor Eduardo L. Joson who rescued the POW’s. It is now a popular World War II tourist destination for the veterans and their families.
