A waterfall located in the municipality of Sta. Praxedes, province of Cagayan is well – known as the Portabaga Falls. It is one of the tallest waterfalls in the province that is about 15 meters (41 feet) in height. Sta. Praxedes is one of the some parts of the province of Cagayan that has a climate that is marked by distinct seasons, wet from May to October but dry for the rest of the year. Sta. Praxedes is a mountainous coastal area. Portabaga Falls is one of the distinguished sights of Cagayan. The waterfalls has 3 drop – off points. At the bottom of the falls is a giant catch basin that was designed and created for swimming.
