Bonifacio Day

Bonifacio day is celebrated in honor of Andres Bonifacio, the Father of Philippine Revolution. Being one of the most prominent leaders of his time, he led the people to stand up against the Spanish rulers and found their way in attaining the country’s freedom.
Bonifacio day is celebrated to commemorate the life and efforts that he has put in leading the people to gain the country’s freedom. Believing that peaceful reform is not enough to attain the country’s freedom, he founded the Katipunan and led the people to fight against the Spaniards.
